Australian owned national distribution business is in huge growth mode with the potential for multiple hires across the different areas including finance, E-commerce, sales and operations now looking to make a key hire for a Transformation / Change Manager to join the business.
With the head office based out of North Melbourne this is an office-based role with some flexibility but not a core hybrid or WFH environment.
The role:
The position is important and involves various different elements to make this successful. You will be required to implement operational change throughout the company encompassing the different business units. One key area is looking to implement a new ERP system and have knowledge or experience picking the right vendors and following through to make sure this is implemented into the business.
Other areas to address will be how the customer service department operate and make large scale over halls to this as well as areas like warehouse control and general operations.
Ideally you will come from transformation / change or operational management environment and be prepared to work across different areas, when necessary to ensure smooth running of the business and internal excellence
Requirements:
- Ability to be on sight and bring the current employees on a journey of change and transformation
- To be free thinking and have experience implementing change whilst managing small teams and ensuring systems are in place to succeed
- Although not an expert, you will need to be semi technical from an IT perspective for responsibilities like selecting a new ERP vendor
- Solid tenure throughout career and ability to influence or manage others
- Open to industry experience, could come from any professional industry as long as you have the enthusiasm and get up and go to incite change
