A large tier 1 global provider of technology and specifically audio-visual solutions to a range of industries and events are looking to hire an experience Project Manager to take hold of some of their key projects across VIC:
The role:
Working in a team of 4 you will be responsible for large scale AV installations and leading the project team to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties you will perform include:
- Day to day management; Evaluating system and design systems; Preparing/supervising documentation and equipment for installation; Attending and/or supervising the onsite implementation of projects; Client liaison; Evaluations and reporting
- Create project breakdown and analyze costs associated with each section of a project
- Develop labor plans for projects detailing what types of staff are required each day (riggers, fitters, welders, machinists, carpenters, electricians)
- Ensuring installation documents including site information, system block diagrams, equipment layout, cable schedules, rack layouts, metal/woodwork drawings are ready to give to the install team prior to commencement of installation
To be successful your experience will have been:
- 5+ years' experience working within the audio-visual industry
- Deep project management experience and ability to deliver on time and on budget
- Ability to recognize areas for improvement, create clear plans, communicate the plans to senior management level and then successful implement
- Fantastic communication both written and oral
- Team collaborator that mixes well with all levels of senior stakeholder
