We are seeking an enthusiastic  Electrical Engineer  to join our Brisbane projects team. This client-facing role involves working across a variety of projects including apartment blocks, aged care facilities, and schools, and requires strong collaboration while also being able to work autonomously across your own projects.


Your Role Will Involve

  • Preparing concept, schematic, design development, tender, and construction documentation.
  • Preparing design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports, including electrical design for a range of projects.
  • Reviewing drawings, responding to RFIs, and resolving design and on-site issues.
  • Development to prepare for leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Attending site to inspect in progress and completed construction works
  • Working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure all projects are managed effectively and producing high quality designs
  • Visiting sites approximately once per week to inspect progress and completed works.
  • Managing project workloads, deadlines, and deliverables efficiently.
  • Continuously improving designs by staying updated on the latest technologies and practices.
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have
  • 4–6 years of experience in electrical building services across multiple project types.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in electrical or building services.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia
  • Exposure to external lighting design (AS11558) and electrical design software including Bluebeam and cable calculation software such as AGI32.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to gel with the team while managing projects independently.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and client-facing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards and building codes.
  • Driver’s license and ability to attend site visits weekly.
  • Ambition to progress towards chartership and develop career through formal training and mentoring.
