AV Commissioners

Overview
An Audio Visual (AV) Commissioner is a specialist responsible for the final testing, configuration, programming, and sign-off of AV systems before they are handed over to the client. Their role ensures that all integrated technologies operate as intended and meet project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
System Testing & Validation
Verifies all components—audio, video, control systems, lighting, networking—are installed correctly and functioning to design.
Programming & Calibration
Fine-tunes system performance, including DSP settings, video resolution, automation sequences, and user interface logic.
Documentation & Reporting
Produces detailed commissioning reports, test results, and as-built documentation for client records and future servicing.
Client Handover & Training
Conducts demonstrations, user training sessions, and ensures the client is comfortable using the system.
